Did you know there are lots of incredible initiatives happening around us? Here are just a few that make a difference in our local and surrounding community.
Repair Cafe
The NSP Repair Cafe is hosted several times a year. Our next event is on the 24th October 2026 at the Palairet Hall, from 10am – 12.30pm.
Whether you’ve got a hole in an item of clothing, or a piece of equipment that needs a more technical fix, come and see how our volunteers can help repair your broken items.
litter picks
Looking after our local landscape is just one step to making a difference for the environment and wildlife living on our doorstep.
We hold an annual litter pick each Spring, in collaboration with the Parish Council, where members of the community pitch in to help clear things like plastic waste from our roadsides.
There is also a village litter picking group who each have a route which they manage on a weekly basis. Please contact sustainablenortonstphilip@gmail.com for further information/if you would like to be added to the group.
